Breakfasts Two-Hundred-and-Seventy-to-Seventy-Three

No. 270: Toast with damson jam; No. 271: French toast, bacon, maple syrup and rasberries;
No. 272: French toast, bacon and maple syrup; No. 273: Cinnamon & raisin bagel and damson jam.
I played Pictionary for the first time this evening. What a revelation.

Below is my game-clinching doodle. I confess I'm no draftswoman, but I was rather pleased with this. The word was "frisk". I drew the aeroplane and rectangle/terminal first to set the scene; otherwise this would just have been one stick person groping another. And though groping is an action, I'm pretty sure that molestation is likely not part of the Pictionary canon.

The other team scored a deserved triumph with "fuzzy" -- illustrated by first drawing a fuzzy peach, and then a fuzzy bottom.

Breakfast the Two-Hundred-and-Forty-Ninth

Brown roll with peanutbutter and jam.
I committed sins against polar bears today and flew to London. (I will plant some trees in repentance).

I must say, it is a novelty flying with someone other than Squeazy Jet. We arrived 15 minutes early. And were fed and watered on board.

I had a lovely time cloud gazing.  Sometimes I find it impossible to believe that you couldn't just walk around on top of them. They look so inviting. I imagine you'd sink through the first layer, up to just below your knees, and you'd kick up whisps as you went on your way...

No doubt this obsession can be traced to my childhood duvets covers, which featured elephants and hippopotami reclining on fluffy clouds.

Breakfast the Two-Hundred-and-Nineteenth

Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and banana.

"Gérard Depardieu accused of urinating on a plane": to be fair, this accusation could be levelled at just about everyone who's been on a plane.  I think a better (though I concede less punchy) headline would be "Gérard Depardieu accused of urinating not in the loo on a plane".

My other problem with this headline is my literal minded-ness. I imagine him walking up to a Boeing 747, unzipping, and peeing on the wheel. Or perhaps displaying a prodigious talent for long-range urination and somehow managing to hit a wing.
